These terms cover how you may use the Afrimmak website. They are written plainly on purpose. By using this site, you agree to them.

Afrimmak is a project of the Mendez Impact Foundation, based in Brusubi, West Coast Region, The Gambia. In these terms, "we", "us", and "Afrimmak" mean the project and the Foundation behind it.

Accepting these terms

Using this website means you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We may update the terms from time to time (see "Changes" below), and continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the new version.

What this site is for

This is an informational website. It exists to explain what Afrimmak is, showcase our entrepreneurship and innovation competition and our mission, and give you a way to get in touch.

It is not an application portal. You do not — and cannot — apply to the competition through this site. If you want to take part or learn more, the site points you to the Competition page and the Contact page. Any information here about the competition, including dates, prizes, and eligibility, may change, and some of it is still being confirmed.

Intellectual property

The Afrimmak name, the Afrimmak logo and wordmark, and the text, design, and images on this site belong to Afrimmak and the Mendez Impact Foundation, unless clearly credited to someone else. You are welcome to read and share links to our pages, but please do not copy, reuse, or reproduce our branding or content for your own purposes without asking us first.

Using the site responsibly

We ask a few sensible things of anyone using the site:

• use the Contact form for genuine enquiries — not spam, abuse, or bulk messaging;
• do not attempt to break into, disrupt, overload, or attack the site or its infrastructure;
• do not use the site for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms others.

If you misuse the site, we may take steps to protect it and the people who use it.

No warranty

We put real care into keeping this site accurate and available, but we provide it "as is". We cannot promise it will always be error-free, up to date, or online without interruption. Details about the competition and the organisation may change as things develop.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Afrimmak and the Mendez Impact Foundation are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site — including relying on information that later changes. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

The law that governs these terms is still to be confirmed. We will state the governing jurisdiction here once it has been decided.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Afrimmak and the site develop. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Please check back now and then.
